1. You can customise your character therefore you can look like Brendan or May, but the trailer is showing off that you can look different.
2. They've added a few new landmarks, hence the big Eiffel Tower thing.
3. The Mansion with the statue is just Lilycove museum, they've just changed it up a bit.
4. The dessert/mountain area in the trailer is just between Fallarbor and Lavaridge.
5. The swinging through trees bit is just how you pass through Fortree now.
6. There weren't many pokemon in R/S so they just added a load more.
7. They showed Kirlia, nuff said.
8. One of the gyms looked like a house, Normans gym was just rooms.
9. Here's the clincher, the Legendaries are just alternate forms of Kyogre and Groudon!
