About the attacks the starters are using in the vid

The second attacks they were using, looked they belonged to the type of the Pokemon they were attacking
Chespin- (probably) shadow claw
Fennekin- some psychic looking attack
Froakie- normal type looking attack

This makes me think the types will be

Grass/Ghost
Fire/Psychic
Water/Normal

A different theory going around is those moves are their second type, Grass/Dark (night slash), Fire/Psychic (confusion, psychic or psywave), and Water/Fighting (Close Combat).

Yeah that's the thing I thought at first too, but for some reason I thought this made more sense.

That claw attack looked like Aerial Ace.

Froakie- normal type looking attack

Water/Normal

Going by this logic, Squirtle, Totodile, Mudkip, and Oshawott should all be Water/Normal because they use Tackle/Scratch.

If that's a normal attack, Froakie might just be Water.

Well the reason I thought of Water/Normal was also because of the possible Grass/Ghost Chespin might have, it would "balance out".
