Something to help balance the things that are still.....unbalanced.
Attack Types that are too Good: - Fighting (effective against 5(!) types) - Ground (effective against 5(!) types)
Attack Types that are too Weak: - Poison (effective against only one type, Grass) - (Would say Normal, but it's probably meant to be a weak attack type)
Defense Types that are too Good: - Ghost (only weak to one type besides itself, Dark) - Electric (only weak to one type, Ground. Ground is OP attack though, so this goes unnoticed)
Defense Types that are too Weak: - Rock (weak to 5(!) types) - Grass (weak to 5(!) types) - Ice (weak to 4 types, only resists Ice) - (Would say Normal, but it's probably meant to be a weak defense type)
So to balance all these things, we would need a Type that:
Attacking: - Super-effective against Ghost and Electric. - Resisted by Rock, Grass, and Ice.
Defending: - Resists Fighting and Ground. (and possibly one other type at least) - Weak to Poison. (and possibly one other type at least)
Sound should be a type, because there's already a bunch of moves classified as Sound moves, and there's plenty of existing Pokemon that could have their types changed to reflect this.
And if they could make Light into something that isn't completely redundant when Electric, Fire, and Fighting all exist, then I wouldn't mind that either, but I'm not specifically wanting it to happen. (I'd consider it the opposite of Ghost type, since Dark is sort of a misnomer)
If you actively hate Justin Bieber... then you don't know what "intended audience" means. Hate Twilight instead, it's far worse.
