I think we will. I'm feeling like this will be the biggest generation Pokemon has ever experienced both in size of the region and in PokeDex.

Im hopeful TC but I said no simply because this is a huge step for Gamefreak.

I will wager at least over 100 since at least 700 has already been confirmed.
On the WoW board today, Coop14 becomes the most desired male on the board in the span of a single day. -

I'm pretty sure that Ishihara said there will be over 700 pokemon with the addition of the generation 6 monsters. This makes me think that the number will fall short of 800, otherwise he would have said 800 or over 800. Probably in the mid 700 range is where we'll get to this generation.

It's possible. I remember Gold/Silver claiming that they introduced "dozens" of new Pokemon instead of just flat-out saying that there were 100, which sounds like better marketing, but then you'd probably have complaints that Celebi was unobtainable and crap like that.

So I dunno, I'm estimating it to be around the 110 range (putting the total at 760-something), but it could be more. It's not as if we have any sort of facts to base this on, other than the pattern we've seen in the past of odd generations having more than even ones, and this gen hasn't has as much time to come up with and finalize designs as previous ones have.
If you actively hate Justin Bieber... then you don't know what "intended audience" means. Hate Twilight instead, it's far worse.
