will pokemon have gender differences?

i can't see gamefreak putting the effort with the modelling...
plus Spinda seems like a nightmare when it comes to textures....

Since we're gonna' have, what, 700 pokemon models already, I can't imagine many new pokemon will have gender differences, but they'll probably honor as many legacy ones as possible.

Yes, they did. As for Spinda, it's not like they actually create each and every single one of Spinda's spot patterns by hand; the very thought of that is ludicrous. They have a base model for Spinda with no spots and have the computer run an algorithm that adds spots to it based on its PV. That's what they've done for every game in the past and I see no reason to think it won't hold.

Considering how most gender differences are just slight altercations to the texture, it shouldn't be hard.
