It was announced right? What if one of the starters has it?

I haven't heard anything about a new type. They've only anounced the game and 5 of the new pokemon.

There's no reason to introduce a new type now.

Your opinion differs from mine, therefore you're trolling.

Why do people always ask for a new type whenever a new generation begins? It hasn't happened since Gen 2, which was to balance out Psychic types since they were OP in Gen 1. There is no reason anymore to add new types. Doing so would just over complicate the game, causing many to quit.

I'm not asking or hoping for a new one. I went back to see if it was said somewhere about a new type. I guess I misread it

If they make a new type, it should have a weakness to Poison. But this new type should be super effective against water and dragon as well as resistanct against them.

Solution to the Ice/Poison problem:

-Make some really fast Ice-types with high speed and anti-priority moves/abilities
-Make new super bulky Poison types.

Otherwise it's like asking for Steel to get an offensive buff and Fire to get a defensive buff.
