They could just use the cries from Stadium for Pokemon of the first two generations. The fourth- and fifth-gen cries are fine, and the third-gen cries are at least better than those of the first two gens. They don't have to use their anime voices.

I don't think anime voices will work because then the European release would have to have the names said in 5 different languages, which would take up a lot of space (audio files tend to be the largest resource in games, second only to movie files).
The usual cries are universal for every language, so less work is needed and less space is consumed. Remastering the first 2 or 3 gen cries would be great if they could do that though.
