With Pokemon going full 3D, should we get new and better Pokemon cries?

YES, but it should have the option for the old ones, kind of like the radio thing in HG/SS that could change the music back to the original

Also NO POKEMON SAYING THEIR NAMES You guys realize this was only done in the anime so that kids could better remember what each pokemon was! It makes no logical sense. The game makes more sense where the cries are animal sounds

Weeeelllll... listen closely to Pachirisu's cry some time. Or Chatot's default cry, while remembering that his Japanese name is "Perapu".

Certain cries actually do sound like they're saying their Japanese names sort of.

And Pikachu says his name even in text when you speak to them in the games. I think some smaller, cuter Pokémon are supposed to say their names, but everyone else is supposed to growl or whatever.

Chatot saying its own name as its cry would be the only Pokemon that I'd be okay with saying its name, considering what it is.

We did in diamond/pearl but Black and white took a huge step backwards.

B/W cries were better than D/P cries though...but Rayquazza still has the most awesome cry of any pokemon
