If we're talking video game wise, Animorphs for the Gameboy Color and that Shaman King for the GBA with the Hawk and Wolf versions definitely fit the bill. They were essentially Pokemon's battle system with a new coat of paint around them.
The franchises on your list though... I wouldn't say so. Some of them might have vague connections like capturing or taming their own versions of 'Mons' or somehow getting kids to collect all of the whatever their actual products are, but I wouldn't say they are Pokemon clones.
Haha, was Crystal Monsters that DSiWare game that I couldn't see as anything but trying to cash in on the popularity of Pokemon clones? I don't remember why I disliked it so much, but it was laughably bad for me. Needing to "catch" monsters using crystals, "evolving" monsters that was just them changing color, one of three "starters" for seemingly no other reason than because other games do it... I dunno, it just brings back very demeaning memories.
