Do you think types need to be a little more balanced?

I do. Since dragons were killed by knights, steel should be SE against dragon, poison should be SE against water for obvious reasons and grass needs a bit more love.

Types don't need to be about all of them being even.

Tie it on, in your mind. It's your Noctourniquet.

Stop Pokémon Communism. We already had Pokémon Red.

The element types represent the element in question as a whole, not small fragments.

Steel does not represent nights. Steel mainly represents metals and objects made of such things. Poison is not always good against water, and many solutions or cures make use of water to cure poisoning. [Pollution does not represent poison as a whole but as a fragment of what poison is.]

/etc.

Yes, balance is needed, but I'll leave that to GF.

Yes. Poison need to be buffed.

Poison should be super effective against steel because of Acid.

Steel should be weak against Electric.

Grass should be immune to electric.

Ice should resist dragon and Normal and take normal damage from Steel.

Steel should be weak against water because they rust. It's Steel, not stainless steel, so they can and will still rust.

Any more nerfs to Steel is welcome

The only change I would make is to not have Super Effectiveness stack to x4.

Often, when you try too hard to act superior, the opposite occurs.

Steel was never really intended to be an offensive type, but I can certainly get behind the idea of making Poison more useful.

This.

All I really want is Poison SE against Normal [I mean come on now, if you're poisoned you're no longer in a neutral position or in a normal state/average state]

That would really unbalance things leaving Normal with two weaknesses, two NVE, one immunity that goes both ways, and no super effective hits.

Not very fair on the spectrum of Pokemon.
