Should Pokemon games have a more religious theme?

I know this is a joke topic but I just wanted to say that religious NPCs is a really good idea. A new trainer class called "Believer" or "Devotee" or something would be neat. They wouldn't have much of a specialization; high SpDef pokemon if anything. It might seem like a touchy subject but evidently Gamefreak doesn't care (the "Dancer" trainer class).
