Not even voting, when it comes to "best" I don't count first gen I feel it doesn't belong on polls. It started the franchise, it didn't build off anything else, it had no room for balance or adjustment, it was what it was and it started something for the others to build off of.

What do you mean "settle"? The only people who actually believe Gen I is the best are genwunners, and their opinion's can be pretty much disregarded at that point

With that logic, anyone who doesn't think Gen 6 will be the best pokemon generation ever is a genxer.

You seem to be saying that anyone who thinks Gen 1 is the best only does so because of irrationality, and yet, that opinion in and of itself is irrational because it's entirely possible for a person to like Gen 1 the best without being a hater of later gens.

Personally, I DO prefer Gen 1 the most. That doesn't mean that I haven't enjoyed the subsequent generations as well, or that I don't appreciate them, or whatever. I like certain things about all of the generations.
