Posting here because I need a fast answer. It's still Pokemon related.
My Purrloin wants to learn Pursuit but I don't know what to make him forget.
I find Sand-attack useful before switching mid-battle. Scratch is weak but it hits... and I wanted to keep a normal move. Fury Swipes saved his skin often so far because of the insane critical hit ratio GF gave this gen. Assist... Assist is fun. And it will get more useful as the other Pokemon in the party learn better moves right? Sounds cool.
What do you think he should forget and why?
By the way don't tell me to ditch Purrloin. I know the general consensus is that it's pretty useless. But it's cool, because I know what he CAN do! Besides he is one of my favorite Pokemon since we seem to have things in common. --- I need three rainbow slugs to build that park. And some ice monkeys to build houses.
scratch, it will be more powerful and it does the same thing, hurt.
The lack of a 100 accuracy normal move won't be a problem?
You get same type attack bonus boost in pursuit for being the same type as the Pokemon, so it's base power in 60. Scratch, I think is only 50. So, it's stronger and is just as accurate. --- Not changing this sig until The Undertaker vs. Chris Jericho happens on PPV (started October 4, 2009)
Also, you have a normal move that is potentially stronger. The drop in accuracy isn't so bad as I never really miss too much with 85? accuracy, especially fury swipes. And, even if you do, it's likely not game breaking.
If you really want a normal type move, you'll get a better one down the road. No need to have two on the same set unless it's for a really good reason. --- Not changing this sig until The Undertaker vs. Chris Jericho happens on PPV (started October 4, 2009)
