Let's buff poison!

Acid Rain
BP: ---
PP: 10
Acc: ---
Poison type

The user summons a poison rain, making poison attacks SE against everything. Steel types take 4x damage. Poison type pokemons gets a 50% boost in every stat.

In (one of) the last book(s) in the series, someone gets sick and Prince Caspian's first response is to call for a psychic to heal her, implying that the psychic could somehow draw out the poison with its powers.

Make it do residual damage against non-Steel types, and do 25% damage to every non-Steel type upon switch-in. 50% for Steels.

Also should toxic poison any non-immune Pokemon on the field while canceling out abilities to stop Guts and Magic Guard.

The type effectiveness has been changed before, "ya'll", and as it stands Poison is basically the worst offensive type besides maybe Normal - and Normal isn't really meant to be used for super-effective hits.

Ice needs the buff too, only defensively rather than offensively.


Only to fix some of the mistakes in first gen (like Psychic being immune to Ghost ) and to compensate for the existence of two new types...

Unless I'm forgetting something, there has been no changes made to the type effectiveness since second gen. Thus, there is very little chance of changes like Poison being strong against water being made now...

It's own weather type.

Acid Rain: Heals poison types each turn by 1/16 hp. Damages all other types except Steel by 1/16 each turn. 50% increase to Def and Sp.Def to poison types.

No need for resistance and supr effective changes that way.

Water is f******* abundant being the type with the most pokemon and only having 2 weakneses,despite being 1 of the 3 basic types.
