I disagree. For that to be the case, it would be the only the only Pokemon to be designed differently when a baby. Pichu, Magby, and all baby Pokemon are separate. The young Kangaskhan is not just a scaled down model of the parent, it is a different design, like all baby Pokemon. I don't see how making it a new Pokemon would make no sense. What making no sense is a a family of Pokemon being all one gender, and hatch from an egg as parents.
And the theory is nothing more than a theory. It is not ridiculous, it makes many points that are backed up in one way or another. It does have many holes as well though, being only a theory.
