English dub would probably make them "friends" or "brothers" or something. I would imagine the Japanese version would probably keep it subtle or avoid making it all that relevant.

And if the pokemon have all their canonical abilities, every time a pokemon falls Ho-Oh can revive it in a more powerful form. Including itself.

Going by digimon lore means we can go by pokemon lore too.

And in that case magikarp can jump mountains and kingdra can kill most underwater digimon by yawning..

Just want to add that Most Pokemon didn't have very impressive feats or actually shown using their abilities as described by the Pokedex and we all know how accurate Pokedex are. If we ignore all these Pokedex "feats" It's far more conceivable that Digimon would win. I mean a 10 year old kid could catch "God", although you could argue that it wasn't "canon".

Counting the Pokedex as all truth should tip it in Pokemon's favor, if we consider that all the creation trio is in fact, capable of doing what the myths said they can, otherwise, Digimon wins in a landslide.
