They got their ranking of the best to worst backwards. For me its V,IV,III,I,II

2 Was given a high placement due to all the mechanics that were added. I tend to agree with their reasoning even if it isn't my favorite gen.

Weather, breeding, items, new types, timed events, time in general, depth adding items and set ups, etc.

I agree with the ranking tc showed!
as long as the remakes are counted as part oof the gen they remade!
otherwise, gen 1 would be so much lower. Better than gen V imo but still lower.

oh and gen IV should be higher. xP!!

Gen IV is indeed one of the best. Its mechanics are the modern one and going back to certain types are permanent physical or special is painful. I do enjoy the regions and gym leaders the exact same, but the mechanics are far inferior in the older versions.

Doesn't mean it's the best though. Sure it "started" the trend, but the later gens improved upon it.
