The reason why nintendo can't release Pokemon RBY on VC is because ...

there is no option to make the pixel's color red or blue when playing VC games.

honestly dont think people would complain TOO much if they used the gold/silver era graphics for it instead if this is truly the case

I am sure that, if they wanted to, they could emulate the system by which the GBC recognised the palette headers that certain GB games had, and have that as part of their GB emulator. But since they didn't do it for Metroid 2, IIRC, they're probably not going to do it.

No. It's the lack of being able to do multiplayer that is the reason. Not some absurd pixel thing which is complete bull.

Believe it or not, the original Gameboys lacked colour

Yeah, R/B only played in "colour" on a GBC. And that was just defining a palette in the file header, if not merely choosing from one of the GBC's default palettes. On a related note, Serebii, do you know if this feature was present in JP R/G, or just JP Blue?

Not true. The screens were green. >_>

Anyway, I seriously wouldn't care either way if the games were monochrome or "colorized." I don't even know if I'd want to play them, honestly...

My main gripe with the GB VC. Why isn't it greenscale colourised? Ruined forever, I say!
