| I did during Leaf Green once. I had FR so I started new games and traded over the other starters. It was pretty cool.

| I did in FireRed by using a GameShark to get the Starters and Espeon (HeartGold didn't come out to retcon Red's team yet, plus Lapras sucks), as well as a Light Ball for the Pikachu. It was actually quite fun. |

| no but i did an Ash playthrough which is pretty similar except no espeon and i didn't evolve bulba or squirtle
as a bonus I got to have primeape, pidgeot, butterfree, kingler, haunter, muk, and tauros too
