This poll is now closed.
To pass the time until Pokemon X/Y much anticipated arrival, I want to hold a series of polls that rates every single gym leader that appears in the main series game. Everyday I will hold a poll dedicated to one of the main series gym leaders, and you have a chance to rate them on a scale of 1-10. The poll will be open for 24 hours and the gym leader will be chosen at random. You can rate the gym leaders on whatever you like: gym puzzles, gym battle, appearance, line-up, difficulty, etc.

Previous Results:

Day One - Pryce: 4.84
Day Two - Blaine: 8.15
Day Three - Gardenia: 7.09

Day Four: Tate & Liza
Region: Hoenn
Town: Mossdeep Gym
Type Specialty: Psychic

Ruby and Sapphire line-up:

Solrock lvl 42, Lunatone lvl 42

Emerald line-up:

Xatu lvl 41, Grumpig lvl 41, Solrock lvl 42, Lunatone lvl 42

I gave Tate & Liza a 9. They have one of the funnest and most unique gym battles in the whole series. Why have we not seen any other double battle gym leaders? Oh well, it just even makes their gym battle more unique. They curbstomped me when I played them in Emerald. Awesome gym fight and I liked the concept of a double battle incorporated into the fight. Would love to see another double or maybe even triple battle in the future.

They are the only double battle gym leaders.

Always wanted double battles since the Orange Islands.

And Solrock is awesome.

10/10

Surprised at the amount of tens. I give em a 4 only cause it's unique that it's a double battle. They're extremely easy, and thier gym isn't particilarly memorable.

Forgettable characters, but being the only Double Battle Gym Leaders makes the fight itself very memorable. 8/10.

Wut. Claydol was used instead of Grumpig. I could never forget that Calm Mind spam.
