Why is it that I'm the only person here that LIKES Oshawott?

I love Oshawott and especially Samurott.

Oshawott's a cool guy. I think people don't like Samurott 'cause they never show his awesome two-legged gait with his swords. He's a badmutha. Gen V gets too much hate. The first forms are quite good, especially Snivy. The seconds forms, fair enough, they're pretty dire. Emboar and Serperior are sveet though.

Gen IV is my favourite. All three forms of the three lines are really cool. Best third forms by a mile.
Gen II next. Three simple yet cool designs for all three lines.
Gen I is good too. Charizard's a bit rubbish, but Blastoise is a freakin' tortoise with cannons and Venusaur is just really awesome design-wise.

Gen III is the worst. Torchic's cute, Combusken's alright, but Blaziken is awful. Looks like a rejected Digimon design. Treecko line's average the whole way through. Mudkip's cute too, quite like Marshtomp, but Swampert. Oh, Swampert. I mean, that thing genuinely looks disfigured. I feel sorry for him every time I see him, but then I just feel disgusted. It's horrible.

So: IV - II - I -- V ----- III

I talk too much...

I like at least one of every gen's starters.

But Gen 4 had the worst in my opinion (I hate Chimchar and Turtwig)

He doesn't stand on 2 legs. It's just there's SO much fan art depicting him as such that it gets confusing. In all official art and on-screen appearances, when using his sword, he keeps his free front limb on the ground for balance. Never stands up or walks on 2 legs.

[EDIT]: WHOA...okay, ha, I was wrong. After just searching youtube for Samurott anime apperances, there's a recent one where he draws both swords and stands on hind legs. Well, paint me embarrassed.

Gen III. Sceptile looks good, but Blaziken is probably my least favorite starter designwise, and Swampert looks great. Sadly, Outside the final evos, only Grovyle and Torchic looks good.

Gen V has Samurott, Serperior and BaconGanon: http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/0/0a/Unova_starters_evolution_artwork.png

The only terrible looking starter form this gen in my opinion is Pignite and Oshawott.

Gen IV: Has the best Fire-Starter. The Sun-Wukong look is done really well with the fire theme. Torterra looks awesome, and Empoleon is the best looking Water-Starter in the series. Sadly, The middle forms of these starters look pretty bad outside Grotle.

Gen II: None of these starters looks incredible or great, but they are all pretty okay. No form really looks bad.

Gen I: Charmander line is meh, Venusaur looks great, and Blastoise is nice.

Gen 4 and 5 come pretty close, but ultimately I like Gen 5 a little more

Snivy - Awww
Oshawott - Hello derpderp, I guess you're pretty cute too
Tepig - Get that s*** out of my pokemon

Turtwig - Pretty good
Piplup - YES. One of my favorite starters
Chimchar - See "Tepig"

Nah, don't be embarrassed. It's ridiculously rare to see a Samurott truly walking bipedal, they usually just do the whole "huzzah!" thing with one arm out. It's a shame, 'cause it's a such a good design yet they don't show it off to its full potential! Silly Pokémon companies...

Gen I had the best starters.
The only one of the 3 I didn't like that much was Chikorita but Gen II had a decent lineup.
Gen III is my least favorite Gen but I admit their starter selection was solid.
Gen IV's was decent, the only one I disliked was Piplup and that's only because Empoleon is uglier than sin. The other two are cool though.
Gen V......yeah, the only one I liked was Oshawott and he is far from one of my favorite starters (Samurott is cool though). Snivy is cool in his first form but I don't like Serperior and Tepig's whole line is.....ew.
Gen VI's are the best since Gen III, I actually don't hate any of them.

So yeah, Gen V had the weakest by a longshot.
