Bit of both. D in my primary games, since the majority of my pokémon are just there for collections sake.

C for playthroughs. I like to nickname all pokémon I use in my teams.

C.
I like to give them each ther own identity
I ALWAYS nickname my team members, though.
My other Pokemon, its just a matter of if i can think of one(which i usually do)
If they don't have one, its either I had a better name for it that I cant remember or I REALLLY coudn't think of one.

yes.

But I got lazy in BW2.

Then I realized there was an achievement for it.

So I did it again.

C

This goes for EVERY pokemon, including legendaries. Although, I usually release legendary pokemon. A good example is my Lugia named Sauerkraut.

D.
I've only nicknamed the ones that REALLY needed it.
My Ratatta is "Top %,"
I had a Blaziken named "C. Falcon,"
I named the Shiny Haxorus from the Nature Preserve "Fluffy," (Fluffy used Outrage!)
And I plan on naming a Scrafty "Yosup."

But aside from that, I don't really nickname stuff.
