While the LSR Craft blasted through the seas that surrounded Unova, the large waves that formed out of nowhere were nothing to the ship. The crew inside was going about their business, the heavily armored Medical Division Grunt told Anna and the other grunts that he'd stay with Poli, as he concluded from looking at his short-circuited helmet, that he has nothing better to do.

Seeing the structure of that mouth of his.. amazing!
And this nonsense of Spirit poke'mon..

Almost makes up for my frosted helmet.

"Historic Guard Prindle arriving within 240 minutes."
"Main course for tonight:"
"Watmel Berry,"
"And a side of spicy Tamato soup, with Wepear seasoning..''
"That is all."

MDG---"Finally, some organic food for once, the processed foods from the mainlands are nothing compared to what we eat. Personally I'd wonder what the people you--"

Poli darkly stares back at the grunt.

MDG---"Fine, sore subject."

"This is HFO Anna speaking."
"I'd like to give a warm hearted thank you to all those who've helped us successfully ca-retrieve.. Poli.
"I'm adding one of the few Enigma Berries we grown into the dinner list because of it."
"So keep up the good work, we may yet become worthy of the Starf Berry."

"By the way, HG Prindle's coming soon, and when he arrives, I need you all to be in top form."

After a brief moment, Poli then starts asking the Armored Grunt about something.

Poli---"Why are you treating me like one of you? You've seen what I can do."
MDG--"You've been cooperative with us for nearly the entire trip, I should be the one asking you why you aren't freezing and eating me right now."

Before Poli can respond with a gesture, the grunt warns the cold Human-Pokemon hybrid.

MDG---"Don't think you can easily turn into one of those legendaries and escape from us with no problem, we aren't like the other organizations that claim that they can take over the world.. Anything else?"
Poli---"Who is this Prindle I've been hearing about lately? He seems important."

The grunt pauses for a moment, reflecting on the past. After shivering for a moment, he comes back to face Poli.

MDG---"Well, he's one of the more promising members of the Historic Guard, which is a person that basically oversees and records the history of the world, checks up on any mix ups with the old records we have dealing back before the great event."

Poli---"And what event that would be?"

MDG(Gonna give him a name soon)---"You ask him when he gets here. Anyways, we have quite the way to go until I have to take you to the main research facility, and away from the outside."

"So, I'd advise that you make the most of your time here. And enjoy the short moment of peace inside this place."

If you're referring to the Great Shift with that, Poli is already aware of the Great Shift.

will is just sitting there waiting for pryce to come back. when suddenly mephistopheles burst through the bushes!

will: ahhhh what did you do to pryce!?

mephistopheles: huh! nothing.

will: grrr! you're lying..... I didn't want to reveal this quite yet... but for you I'll make an exception.

suddenly, will gathered water around himself, but before he could do anything pryce burst in!

pryce: wait! will! don't kill him!

will: huh?

pryce: as much as I wouldn't mind he were killed he's a little too important for that.

will: oh... ok! (looks like I won't be testing my idea yet....)

As the duo went on their way, Mephistopheles looked at half of the dark Grimoire, the other half having been sliced off by Pryce.

"I suppose I should apologize for that," Pryce said. "That looks like a very unique book, with the... eye... that actually moves around. Is that thing alive?"

As he spoke, the tome began to re-grow bones, then flesh covered the bones. The flesh spread further and began to take on the look and feel of genuine (albeit veiny) leather.

Pryce was shocked at the sight. "Your book regenerates too?"

Mephistopheles laughed and explained, "This book is a demon, just like myself. Only difference is, the poor fool had the nerve to fall in love with a human."

"Your kind really hates humans, don't they?"

"And we hate demons who associate with humans. Balor the Book here can attest to that."

"Hardcore."

"Indeed. And that's why I'm never going back to Hell," Mephistopheles agreed.

"Though I'm not sure if you can call Martini a human..."

"What? I-I'm not in love with Martini!"

"I never said you were. Why'd you assume I was? Wait, are you-- oh, dear."

"Stop that!! I said I'm not going back to Hell because I associate with humans, not because I'm in love with one!" the demon shouted, outraged.

Pryce laughed and continued on.

The grunt left momentarily to fetch his rations. Poli slumped back and began thinking.

Last few moments of peace. Hmmph. Haven't had some peace in years.

...And apparantly this is my last view of the outside world. Back to isolation.

The grunt returned, holding a tray.

Poli - "As for why I'm noy picking you outta my teeth, It's simply because, from what I've seen of you guys, you look like a trustworthy lot."
MDG - "Funny, I've never heard anyone go through needles, imprisonment, and sample inspection and call the people that did those things to him trustworthy."

Poli chuckled for the 1st time today. The grunt smiled, seeing some warmth in the icy hybrid.

Poli - "Sure beats having villagers scream out for my head."

The grunt cut his Watmel Berry in half, and handed Poli a half.

MDG - "Here. Thought you'd like something to bite that isn't screaming in your ears.
Poli - "...Thanks. Can't remember the last time I've eaten something normal."

As Poli ate the berry half, a thought crossed his mind.

Poli - "What's going to happen to me in this facility of yours?"
MDG - "Wish I knew. That information is classified and only for the higher-ups."
Poli - "So I'm basically going in blind."
MDG - "Pretty much."

As the grunt walked away to place his tray back for cleaning, he asked Poli a question.

MDG - "When Prindle gets here, every staff member on the ship will have to see him so we can discuss what to do with you. Can I trust you to stay?"
Poli - "I haven't made an attempt at escape yet, have I?"
MDG - "Fair point."

The grunt exited the room. Poli stared out the window across the vast sea.

Poli - You know Kyurem, even though I've lost everything meeting you, you allowed me to see the world.
Kyurem - Yes. Imagine if you weren't chosen. You'd still be in that house od yours, training new Sign Bearers and not getting to fly around the world.

Poli grew drowsy afterwards, and decided to bunker down.

Poli could only see white. Kyurem-B appeared, holding Skyla in his hand.

Poli witnessed as the dragon lifted the Gym Leader up and opened his mouth.

Poli gasped as he saw the beast shoved the Gym Leader down it's throat, forced to hear her muffled screams from within.

Kyurem-B morphed into Kyurem-W. Poli looked down at a city beneath him go up in flames as Kyurem-W fired Fusion Flares across the burning sky. Poli saw the dragon's face cruely grinning.

"T...that's. ..me..."

Poli then saw Kyurem-N approach him. As the Dragon neared, Poli noticed his body slowly being encased in ice. Kyurem laughed as Poli was entirely entombed.

Poli - "Waaaargh!"

Poli jolted awake, breathing heavily. The grunt was watching him.

MDG - "You okay? Saw you writhing in your sleep. "
Poli - "I...fine. Just a nightmare."

Poli got up, holding his head.

Poli - Kyurem...I don't know how much longer I can live with this guilt...I...I saw my own rampage in that nightmare...I...how could I have done such atrocities...
