This is a split board - You can return to the Split List for other boards.

Next pseudo-legendary should be at least part-Ice.

Ice type would probably make it one of the least good pseudo legendaries. Ice is so horrible defensively that any Pokemon that has it is automatically worse unless they take huge advantage of hail.

Except, ya know, Ice is one of the best offensive types.

Yeah, offensive. Which means it's good to have a move that has ice type. But the Pokemon itself being ice type already leaves it vulnerable to common stuff.

But Ice/Water is decently common and that helps alot.

The Ice type does nothing to help the Water type; the Water type, rather, mitigates a little bit of the badness of Ice. The only things an Ice type does for a Pokemon are Ice STAB and Ice resistance, and Water already has the latter. Add that nearly every Water-type in the game already knows Ice moves, and that STAB is looking a lot less useful.

Can it be a Smilodon?

HP: 75
Atk: 130
Def: 90

SpD: 90
Spd: 130

Those stats don't make sense for a pseudo-legendary. They all have 600 BST. You can't change that now.

LOL! Definitely doesn't remove Grass type weakness

I wasn't aiming for Psuedo-Legend.

I was giving the guy a Smilodon Pokemon.

And Ambi3nt, Ice doesn't resist Grass.

You're right. It doesn't.

Ice resists only one type: itself. That is part of why it is considered the worst defensive type in the game (the other part is that it has four weaknesses, three of which are really common.)

I think the only decent defensive typing for Ice is either Ground, Ghost, Steel, or Water, but still offense > defense. At least for them.
