I really think Generation 6 should be the last generation. GameFreak should start to focus on improving gameplay, move cinematics, and so forth. Eventually, simply creating new Pokemon every 2 years or so is going to get repetitive. (If it already hasn't.) Also, as the generations drag on the designs are destined to get worse. (Not to say there won't be a couple of stand-outs.)
I was wondering what are your thoughts on the current number of generations and when GameFreak should stop making new Pokemon.
How can there be too many, there's no guarantee that designs "are guaranteed to get worse" and many people like and get excited for new Pokemon.
Not everyone is bored of the formula yet, I want to see how long they can last. --- Official Rayquaza of the Pokemon X and Y boards I like a lot of things. Like Pokemon. And Sonic. And Kirby. And Smash bros. And Coca cola.
If Final Fantasy can have x amount of iterations without being publicly downcast, I see no reason as to why Pokemon can't also have x amount of iterations as well. --- Official Lugia of the Pokemon BW2 Boards
I think that as long as they can have a story and keep making money, why would they stop making games? People will always buy the games no matter how many pokemon there are. I don't want them to stop after this gen. --- Pokemon Black Name-Bradley FC-0390-7892-0582 Pokemon Black 2 Name-Bradley FC-3182-5270-5712
