We know it's going to be named "Ninfia" in Japanese (but probably not in English), it's going to evolve from Eevee, it's going to be featured in an Eeveelution-themed short in Japan with the next movie, and it's going to be available in Pokemon X and Y.
We do not know what its type will be. There is a lot of speculation, with people thinking Normal, Bug, Dragon, Flying, or a new type entirely... which only goes to show that there's no real consensus.
We do not know how it will evolve.
We do not know what its English name will be. It will probably end in -eon like all the other Eeveelutions (Ninfia is its Japanese name), but we technically don't even know that.
We don't know that it's female-only despite its effeminate appearance - remember, Gardevoir, Lopunny, and Gothitelle aren't female-only either.
There. Can this end some of the silly topics (most notably the "why doesn't it end in -eon" topics)? --- Creator of Jay's Journey (see quote!) "It's not ten years old! Therefore, it sucks!" - Nostalgia whores everywhere
It literally has been a little over 24 hours since the reveal. And we're now summarizing everything we already knew about it? --- You're converting to Xbox over system failure? That's like getting pissed with chemo and deciding to stick with cancer.
You do know that Leafeon and Glaceon are called Leafia and Glacia respectively in japanese ,right?
Linking that Ninfia will be called Ninfeon is far from a stretch.
Yeah, but Jolteon is called Thunders in Japan. Vaporeon is called Showers. Flareon is Booster. Espeon and Umbreon are Eifi and Birakki. The -fia connection is barely there. It's there, but far from concrete evidence. --- "Power of mind is infinite, while brawn is limited." Koichi Tohei Official Chespin of the Pokemon X board.
