Why does somebody always suggest this in these topics? There's nothing remotely Dark about Luxray. It doesn't have a cruel or deceitful nature and it isn't nocturnal. It's known for creating bursts of light and having x-ray vision. Is it just because it's black that people want it to be Dark-type? What is it about this particular Pokemon and type that everyone always has to bring it up?

Black fur =/= Dark. Hell, it's name even has LIGHT in it.

Apparently because it has dark fur despite being named after a constellation and being based on light.
