So there should be an option when you select a Pokemon in your party to "Release" it, making it follow you around. If this was in game, I think it would look MUCH better than HG / SS, due to the better graphics of X / Y.

IMO they could keep it as an option to turn on and off. That way both people who enjoy it and people who don't get what they want.
