Yeah! He's happy about it, so what's the problem?

Well, they weren't really relatives, but it was actually my dad's old friend from college and his family, but anyways...

...so their little son wants to show me his Pokemon cards, and I say sure thing kid. But he doesn't show me any Pokemon cards, no sir! What he shows me, are printouts of Pokemon cards on white computer paper. And this kid was really excited about his "Pokemon cards".

Obviously, his parents or his older sister printed them out and gave them to him to make him happy, and it worked, but I couldn't help but feel a little sorry for the kid. Simply because he was being duped.

So... Answer dah poll.

As long as he doesn't plan on ever using them, it seems legit.

Well i love collecting original things rather than fakes/prints, so if in the LOOONG future i ever had a son and he'd like Pokemon like me, i would buy him original cards and enjoy them along with him.

It's very very cruel. What happens happens when he shows his "cards" to other kids? They'll just laugh at him.

Mmm... Pies...

How... how OLD is this kid?

I mean, what? I'm not trying to be rude, but unless he is VERY young, like, in preschool, he shouldn't think those are real cards.

Yeah, I think he was in preschool. I don't remember because it was many years ago. But I do remember that he was talking fluently, so he might have been 5 or something.

And little kids are extremely gullible. His parents might have just convinced him they're Pokemon cards or something.
