They should bring back Shadow Pokemon.

That way, if you purify them, it will have a move that it normally can't learn. They can integrate it into the storyline and only have a set amount and one of a specific poke.

I always wished they made a way to keep your Pokemon as Shadow Pokemon, and still have some cool feats like a palette swap and maybe different stats.

Shadow Shiny Rayquaza anyone?

How about all Shadow Pokemon utilize their DW ability or:

While in their shadow state, their ability actively shifts and depending on how you train it, when it evolves a certain ability is locked in.

You can also convert a poke into a Shadow Pokemon, by going on a sidequest.

I guess the sidequest will prove how much player character really cares for their Pokemon. Keep it happy and normal or torment it and force it to close it's heart so it will become stronger? You decide.

YES please give me something that reminds me of Colosseum!

Fixed. Seriously, though, what was the issue with those games? they were fun as heck. I think it would be cool to have a similar thing to the games where the bad group has a group of shadow pokemon (perferably starters) After all, if they can make the jerk Rival have the Pokemon that is a good type matchup against you, why not do that for this?

Exactly. It adds a moral aspect to the game. Adding to the story definitely would not hurt. Maybe N could make a cameo and give his usual N like speech about the virtues of pokemon. I just want to hear his awesome original theme (not his crappy remix)

Also, Mirror B (XD theme version) cameo, please.

Resons why Colosseum sucked:
- Main game only had double battles (Double battles = annoying)
- Extremely limited selection of pokemon
- Shadow pokemon were lame and the only move they had was that Shadow Rush thing, which it nothing more than a glorified tackle, and since the Shadow Pokemon "unshadowy" themselves so ridiculously slowly, it means you're fighting tackle wars most of the game.
- Ugly and/or boring areas
- No breeding or Wild Pokemon
- Aside from battle themes, the soundtrack is lackluster.
- Butt ugly artstyle for the human characters
