Falkner - Hoothoot, Murkrow, Skarmory

Bugsy: Heracross, Pineco, Scyther

Whitney: Miltank, Grabull, Bilssey >_>

Morty - Misdreavus, the one Ghost pokemon introduced in your gen.

Chuck: Hitmon family

Jasmine: Scizor, Steelix, Skarmory

Pryce: Swinub, Sneasel

Clair: Something to make her less of a crybaby.

I can't remember the teams all that well, but Flint of the E4 was an oddball, "fire" specialist but only had two fire types due to the distinct lack of fire type Pokémon in Sinnoh


At least Flint's non-Fire types carried a heat theme. A metal snake hardened by heat, a hot-air balloon, and a "hot" rabbit.

On the plus side, each had at least one Fire-type moves and is related to fire(Steel was tempered with heat and a hot air ballon)

heck the Elite 4 had Pokemon on their level 40´s even the Champ had his best Pokemon a level 50

Yeah indeed. In fact, for this thing I am doing with Pokemon Crystal, can people please post their ideal teams for each gym leader in Pokemon Crystal, including E4 Members?

Johto obviously. Were they afraid to showcase new pokemon to one of the top-tiered trainers in the game? Especially Morty. I would easliy slap a Misdreavus over a Gastly right now. Even the remakes didn't do jack with that problem outside of rematches.
