Fakemon Guessing Game Two-point-oh

#1RethalwolfPosted 3/4/2013 9:57:49 PM
It's really version 1, extended, but who cares?
So, introducing the FAKEMON GUESSING GAME!!!
Here's the idea.

You can introduce your own Fakemon or try to guess the qualities of others, dealer's choice.
And that's it!

Typical things to guess:
Type(s)
What it's/they're based on
Order of evolution
Anything else you think you should know that I haven't thought would be something you don't already know

You can put up your own or guess others'!
I think the only fairness rule I want to incorporate here is, only one Fakemon (chain) per person at a time.
Maybe this'll become a thing! I dunno. Let's try it?
GO! TWOPOINTOH!

I'm sure this one is insanely easy, but:

Sprook and Dreadwood

Dark/Grass or Ghost/Grass
Based on trees (Oak and Redwood respectively)
Sprook -> Dreadwood (redwoods being massive)

Names could also be derived from Sprout, Sprig, or Root and Deadwood... unless I'm making up that word and just thinking of Driftwood (which it could be coming from).
Obviously spook and dread (though, if driftwood is correct, then it could just come from dread) are incorporated to the names, and as mentioned before oak and redwood are likely starting points too.

Between the two of you, you got everything right.
Grass/Ghost
Sprook (Sprout + Spook)
Dreadwood (Dread + Redwood)

Honestly, I would love a haunted tree Pokemon. I would train it on every game ever.

I thought of this a while back

Spookroot
Scarevine
Darkwood

Starters

The bottom line is wrong
The top line is right

For some reason I kept reading Sprook as Spr-Oak

Soo all dark/grass starters?
It's not a bad idea, though starters especially tend to be animal based with allusion to their typing.
And if you were to incorporate an animal, you should probably put it in the name.
What is there for us to guess? Looks like the right order, and trees/vines/roots.

I sorta want to make a starter chain of my own now.
I have to finish the list I made from the last thread, too.
