Not enough designs to really make an opinion. So far, so good. I really like the legendary in Y. Hopefully there are more badass designs like that.

I think they are all pretty good. Yveltal and Xerneas are definitely some of my favourite legendary designs ever, probably only second to gen 3's trio. The starters are also very good, froakie and chespin in particular. Sylveon, while not bad, doesn't flow with the other eeveelutions. It looks to big and has too many appendages (the ribbon things and the bows)
but I think I would love it if it wasn't an eeveelution

So far its ROFLSTOMPING Gen 4 in my book.

I dont think anything can redeem that set of Pokemon

Curious, and this is just in general: if there was a previous generation you didn't like, and you're playing a game from the new Gen where all Pokemon are avaliable to you, would you avoid certain Pokemon from that previous gen?

These cover mascots are the first that gave me a good first impression since Groudon and Kyogre...

Not much to hate so far. I've liked what I've seen so far. But I wouldn't go as far as to say it's the best starter trios.

they are just getting far too weird with pokemon since the 2nd gen came out.

I think Chespin looks stupid and looks like an Oshawott with a hat.
I also just dislike Froakie's design in general.
Fennekin isn't all that special either, but I guess it depends on the final form.

Honestly, yes.

I just really hated Gen 4 pokemon. I dont know why I just did but I loved the hell out of Gen 5

I started with Blue being my first game. I was 6 at the time. I am about to turn 20 in march.

I just feel like Gen 4 ruined a ton of already great pokemon, brought an overkill amount of legendaries, stupid gem dragons, and god... LOLARCEUS

I just found generation 4 sorta the worst bunch. "Purely talking designs here"

The starters 'feel' like starters, but I'm not a fan of Chespin.
The others are alright

I like Yvelta. Xerneas was alright until.. sword legs. He looks very unstable.

Not a fan of Sylveon.
