Next Pokemon game?

I've played through B/W 1 and now B/W 2 and I'm now looking for what to play next. Which gen and which game would you recommend? I'm deciding between Soul Silver and Platinum, but I'm leaning a bit toward Soul Silver because I like Gen 2 a bit better. Gen 3 also has a few of my favorites.
