Yes. Yes so much. It could still be shown as a Normal move with no defined Base Power when looking at the TM that teaches the move, but when it's on a Pokemon's movelist, you should be able to see the base power and the type just like any other move.

Absolutely, and that power should be 70 for everyone. Having the power vary for everyone is just dumb.

At least after you get somebody to tell you what it is in-game.
I hate using Hidden Power because it shows up as normal's color on the battle menu.

Considering that Hidden Power reveal-ers in the fifth generation were both available before you could possibly obtain the move (without trading)

Or if you're playing White or White 2 and catch a Solosis.

Why 59 or 60? Why not just 60? Wouldn't 60 be better than 59?
