Personally I can't decide between Electric, Steel and Ice.

Water, since it has few disadvantages and plenty of powerful Pokemon.
Not to mention that there was never any imposed limitations on secondary typings.

Also, their resistances make 'em pretty tough. They can get a secondary type to get around some of their weaknesses too.

Bug because bugs are awesome and sexy Pokemons.

I would miss Probopass though :( Bug is my fav type and all my fav pokemon are bug except for THAT ONE which is my fav of all :(

Either Poison or Ground. I'm running an old Poison + starter team in BlazeBlack v2.0 and I plan to run an all Ground team in BlazeBlack 2.
