attempt #3. Swarm of Kabutops vs. my Shieldon (both fossils, how strange).
Hmmm..... maybe, though it's slim. Shieldon's got good defenses, but its offense is horrid, and Kabutops's dual-typing has to cancel out one of Steel's only offensive advantages. Doesn't help that Kabutops got some physical Water STAB these past couple of generations (though, given Shieldon's significantly lower special defense, a special Water STAB might be worse even with Kabutops's crappy special attack... thankfully, its level-up movepool has excluded Hydro Pump since generation 2, and it only gets Aqua Jet in its current level-up set). Mud Shot might suck too (weak, but 4x effective nonetheless). If Shieldon's allowed the use of an Electric TM, I might be a lot more comfortable with this match-up.
A swarm of Deoxys (O_o), and I got a Slaking(-_-).
Well great. It's a ****ing alien invasion and my partner won't get off his ass. Goodbye cruel world.
actually, you might have a shot. Deoxys are ridiculously frail (aside from Defense Forme, and Speed Forme to a lesser extent), and Slaking's got some of the highest attack power of any Pokemon, as well as enough bulk that it might get by an assault from even an Attack Forme Deoxys. Also, you can at least move during your first turn, so you might wipe out a good number of them at once if you use a group attack like Earthquake.
Next a swarm of registeels, and an exeggute. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU- take 2: Swarm of conkeldurr vs a munchlax. crap. Take 3: Swarm of landorus vs a sentret. goodbye world. you send these 3 waves and I get these 3 crappy pokemon.
