Have they mentioned the possibility of adding the speed-up feature from FE:A?

That being Fire Emblem Awakening. I'm referring to how you could press a or something to double the battle animation speeds.

TBH my biggest problem with Pokemon is that the battle animations are pretty slow and it can get tedious, but turning them off altogether gets pretty boring. I would very much like this option, it's a good compromise.

Or is that too much innovation for Pokemon? Sorry, cheap shot.

Fire Emblem is a strategy game; it works there.
Pokemon is not. It would not work.

It's turn-based, so I don't see why not. Although I do not mind turning off animations altogether.

Except it totally would.

I kept animations off through the Gen 3 and 4 games, and in B/W. I missed seeing them enough to leave it on in B2/W2, but some are still so slow/long. It doesn't help that you're seeing some of the same ones repeat over and over again.

Basically I'm saying I do mind turning them off, and would welcome the ability to speed things up.
