Yeah its been a while. I know there are double Pokemon fights now and multi attribute monsters but what is new? I stopped playing after Gold because it was essentially the same game as before +100 odd new Pokemon. Have they actually innovated the game?

Multi types aren't new. They've been in since RBY --- "Whoa! Heads up, detecting high levels of space chickens." "No! Space chickens are a surgeon's worst nightmare."

Play Gen 5. Be blown away by how much of an improvement it is from Gen 1/2.

Why wouldn't you play Ruby And Sapphire? --- I shook hands with the new Pope. I am enlightenment. I am also the only true Pokemon fan.
I guess I was just getting tired of the series. I also lost the nostalgia, following all the new pokemon. They just aren't as cute or memorable as the 1st gen. Take gen 2 for instance. The 3 Pokemon you start up with are conveniently a fire type, grass type and a water type. They are basically poor imitations of their ancestors.
