I am really annoyed by the progression of Ash a trainer from Gen 1 - 5. It's like every generation his skills RESETS.. @_@

In my opinion, the anime should have a time skip from 5th to 6th gen. In the time skip, Ash will actually be a pokemon master and the new main protagonist is his son (I know, it's quite cliched but this is better than ash is 10 years old everytime.)

What's yours?

I think they will change the graphic, to resemble the 2D->3D Change. Ash will still stay, though.

As much as I don't care about Ash and the anime, if they pulled a time skip like you described, I'd be pissed. After 10+ years of Ash, instead of getting a proper conclusion to his story, we get a time skip and the results? I just can't accept something like that.

Then again, the anime never really was much for story, was it?

Yes to time skip, no to the scenario.

I want to see him become a master. Or at least win a league. I don't subscribe to the theory that him winning a league means his journey has to end.
