I like the 8-bit animations more. I feel like the technological limitations led them to do more whacky things for attack animations (Like distorting the whole screen for Psychic).

I'm not easily impressed; I'm usually oblivious to whatever's in front of me.

How does Thunder's animation differ in IV? I think it's bloody awesome in V
"Whoa! Heads up, detecting high levels of space chickens."
"No! Space chickens are a surgeon's worst nightmare."

I dunno. It's awesome in Gen V, but I liked Gen IV's more for some reason. I like how Gen IV's is just a huge lightning bolt that hits the target for a split second.

Gen V has the worst attack animation ever for Leer. So boring.

As fun as it was in Gen I with all the attacks just being the same across their type with more added the stronger the attack was, they've really only gotten better each gen.

Well, my first battle in BW2 was against my rival's Snivy...
He had my Oshawott at 1 HP... All he had to do was use Tackle...
"Snivy used Leer!"
I laughed so hard.

But, yeah... That's the only thing I like about Leer in Gen V.
