Where is the fun in get exactly what you want ever time no matter what?
From my perspective, it's like you're asking me "where's the fun in fun?". Success is fun, failure usually is not. Having what you want is great, whereas being deprived is a tedious struggle. Failure and deprivation are consistent indignities of life which I have no desire to seek out in my entertainment as some sort of dubious masochistic pleasure.
Often, when you try too hard to act superior, the opposite occurs.
I know so many people that buy action replays and stuff and use it to level up pokemon faster, get special hidden stats better, get shinies etc...
I don't even know why these kind of people even bother playing Pokemon games. I mean where is the fun in reaching max pokemon level in a few seconds instead of taking the time to do it yourself?
Or catching any pokemon on your first try? Or unlimited money and items?
Where's the fun in grinding battles for hours just to get a new 'mon up to snuff for what you're currently doing?
Or missing your chance to catch a 'mon just because the RNG hates you?
Or never ever seeing a shiny Pokemon in the wild because Gamefreak is stingy?
Well maybe this isn't the game for you. You should try playing short casual games like Angry Birds or something. Thats like someone complaining about how long it is to beat a JRPG and getting good equipment and just uses a hacked save to run through the whole game.
Those people shouldn't be playing these games in the first place because its obvious they are the audience for them.
