How come were still tied down to 4 slots for moves?

In the anime they could use like beyond 30 moves but in the game its always 4? They should make it 8 at least

I'm 90 percent certain that the only Pokemon in the anime to use more than 4 moves at once was Drake's Dragonite, and it was done to make it seem unbeatable.

Because in the anime people are stupid and they have movesets like Giga Impact on Latios or Vine Whip on Venusaur.

Because RPG physics and battles don't work the same way as the anime physics and battles.

Hmm.... now that you said it, Vine Whip seems to be a 100% accuracy Protect and Fissure in one, and Giga Impact seems to have virtually no drawbacks.

Yeah and Hyper Beam doesn't need to recharge. Rayquaza was spamming it.
