I remember playing NetBattle: Supremacy, during one of the earlier versions there was this huge glitch/bug where if a Pokemon fainted due to passive damage (Stuff like sand, Toxic, Burn, Leech Seed, Magma Storm, etc) then the opponent got an extra turn to do whatever the hell they want.
Basically something like this would happen: (Yes, I know it's a stupid scenario. lol)
I sent out Tyranitar *A sandstorm is brewing.* Opponent sent out Latias
Turn 1: Opponent switch out Latias, opponent sent out Shedinja My Tyranitar used Dragon Dance *Sandstorm rages* *Hits Shedinja; Shedinja fainted*
Turn 2: (There's no Pokemon on the opponent side) My Tyranitar used Dragon Dance Opponent sent out Lucario
Turn 3: ....
How would you feel if Gen 6 implemented something like that?
Also a dumb question... does anyone even remember this glitch back then? lol
