Pokemon designs are so diverse that saying "they don't even look like Pokemon anymore" is a really bad excuse. --- I'm not easily impressed; I'm usually oblivious to whatever's in front of me. Stunfisk is the epitome of monstrous majestic legendary creatures that spew fire.
Oh, look, this topic again. Like every gen since Gen 3 (or maybe since Gen 2?)
'It doesn't look like a Pokemon' Well, you see, I woukd be grateful if you enlightened us and explained to us what should a Pokemon look like, with a list of traits that define objectively the Pokemon looks.
'They are running out of ideas' And even then, they always bring forth at least 100 new Pokemon with each iteration.
'They look like Digimon' Maybe we could say the same thing in reverse, that some Digimon look like Pokemon. Or maybe both series have their own style which is indeed pretty different from the other.
