Gen 5, you have absolutely too many weather teams. Dream world abilities were a horrible idea.

Gen4, the physical/special split was greatly needed.
I am here to promote the discussion and appreciation of Fennekin.

Gen 5 - The Medal requirements can sometimes be unfair.
Gen 2 - It fixed many of the issues that Gen 1's system had.

Ooh, read the title wrong.

Gen IV, there were a few too many evos, and DP really were awfully slow.

Gen V, you had Marlon. And I liked most of the new pokemon.

-Introduced a lot of underpowered Pokémon
-Water could have had more diversity in terms of wild Pokémon encounters, as well as aquatic features

Gen V
-Region too linear
-PWT made the Battle Tents look a bastion of battling

Gen II
+Introduced breeding, including chain breeding for egg moves
+Introduced held items, including my beloved Lefties
+Introduced the Battle Tower in Crystal, and allowing Mewtwo, mascots and event Pokémon was great (except that opponents didn't use them...)
+Introduced Shiny Pokémon

Gen 2 brought back Team Rocket, the most boring villains in the games.

Gen 1 introduced me to a series, and genre, that would eventually become one of my absolute favorites.
Let's just pretend this says something witty.

Gen II: You made shinies less special. You made me accidentinally run from a shiny snubull. Lance was a bad@55 with 2 DRAGONITES!!!! That Ice gym was freaking confusing. delibird was terrible.

Gen IV & V: You gave me some cool legendaries (darkrai, cresselia, etc.) You gave me the awesomesauce that is lucario. other stuff.

Gen IV - Some of those old pokemon didn't need evolutions, or at least they could have been better looking.

Gen III - The addition of natures was a great way of helping to encourage pokemon specialization.
