My OU team, the first full competitive team I ever made.

McAura (Lucario) (M) @ Expert Belt
Trait: Justified
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Aura Sphere
- Dark Pulse
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Psychic

One of my special sweepers, and a great one at that. Can outspeed a lot, and can take a hit or two anyway. Good coverage, and neutral damage at least on most types. One of my usual leads, as it can normally take out a tank/wall, or stop a setup. Also, people usually predict a physical set, leading to some annoyed opponents.

McEvo (Umbreon) (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Synchronize
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 100 Def / 152 SDef
Sassy Nature
- Curse
- Wish
- Payback
- Confuse Ray

What is there to say about Umbreon? Can take just about anything, including THREE 2x boosted Focus Blasts from an Espeon, and has had THREE successful sweeps. Yes, an Umbreon sweep. Confuse ray stalls and is better than Toxic IMO, as it trades guaranteed damage for a few free turns. Curse is great for setting up, and I use Payback over Foul Play as Umbreon will almost always move last after a Curse or two. Wish is good for healing and support, and although Moonlight is more immediate, it is dependent on weather and there is no end to the rain teams in OU. My favourite Pokemon, and a beautiful addition to the team.

McCandle (Chandelure) (F) @ Wise Glasses
Trait: Flash Fire
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
- Calm Mind
- Flamethrower
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Electric]

Another special sweeper. Doesn't get as much use as Lucario or Thunderus-T, as I usually use it for late-game. It can however destroy some teams. I don't always get the chance to pull off a Calm Mind, but it is still useful. HP Electric is good, but leaves Water/Ground types a massive advantage. Still unsure whether to run Energy Ball instead. Overall though, a good late-game sweeper and a tricky challenge for opponents.

McPlesios (Lapras) (F) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Shell Armor
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
- Ice Beam
- Perish Song
- Block
- Surf

This is a tricky one. Lapras can do a good job as a perish trapper, as opponents think they have two more turns before they need to switch. Can also end a setup sweep as even if taken out opponents need to switch. The other attacks can be useful, but hardly ever take an opponent out. Lapras does have its uses, but it doesn't always show its worth.

McSensei (Gallade) (M) @ Quick Claw
Trait: Justified
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Psycho Cut
- Stone Edge

My physical sweeper. Gallade can decimate some opponents, but is often let down by its poor defense and too many misses. Although he has good coverage, Stone Edge (which is very often the best move) misses too much. It can be devastating but often doesn't get the chance to make an impression. Swords Dance doesn't always get used, but can bring about severe damage on foes. All in all, a fine sweeper but has a few flaws.

McThunderian (Thundurus-Therian) (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Volt Absorb
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Grass Knot
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Nasty Plot

The final team member, Thundurus-T is my other lead. With a Nasty Plot, he poses a real threat. Good coverage means that most foes don't stand a chance against a good setup. Not much more to say, but Thundurus-T is a vital and great team mate.

So that's my team. Any comments would be appreciated. Anybody have any suggestions for a replacement for Lapras? Possibly a hazard-setter or another tank? Thanks in advance for any comments or advice!

iKhanic, have you used Dugtrio? also looks like Band T-tar destroys your team.

I've never run into problems with T-Tar. Charizard has Focus Blast and outspeeds, while Snorlax has Superpower. Venusaur is also pretty handy.

I don't really see a point to putting up Sunny Day just for Magmortar, who's pretty frail anyways. Instead I'd either get rid of him, or give him some moves that don't rely on sun like Solar Beam does.

Also, you might want to trade in the fire gem for an expert belt
