"Strong Pokémon. Weak Pokémon. That is only the selfish perception of people. Truly skilled trainers should try to win with their favorites. I like your style. You understand what's important. Go on—the Champion is waiting." ~Karen upon being defeated. --- "The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you can't do." ~Walter Bagehot
If the game was balanced in a way where that was actually possible I would be very happy.
Unfortunately it's not. I still refuse to remove Gardevoir from my team though. --- 1. The only fool bigger than the person who knows it all is the person who argues with him. 2. They're all complacent sheeple. <==]-<(-_o)>-[==>
All your favorite Pokemon being OU and Uber doesn't mean every other person is the same. Conversely, some people choose their favorite Pokemon BASED on if they're OU or Uber, but not everybody does that either.
The extreme imbalance in Pokemon is one of the biggest problems with the game competitively for many people. People don't want to just play to win with whatever Pokemon that is best done with, they want to be able to use their favorite Pokemon and for their favorite Pokemon to at least be viable even if not the best.
It's an extreme hypocrisy of the series to claim that any Pokemon can be used if you work with them when the actual mechanics of the game is the exact opposite of that. --- 1.
