The more I look at it, the more I think it's going to be a new Fairy type. The symbol in the picture even reminds me of like a fairy or angel that's covering itself with its wings.

...though to be honest I could also see it being a dragon covering itself in its wings.

While I can't disagree that it makes sense for Sylveon, I have reservations on a fairy type being made ever - nor the fanbase embracing it, even if you don't count the genwunners.

Though at least it isn't as silly-sounding as the "Love" type, which some people have apparently-seriously suggested.

It's not gonna be a new type - all Fairy pokemon, like Clefairy, are Normal typed. Just saying...

Well, not all. There's Celebi, Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf off of the top of my head that are not.
