I'd assume that pokemon finally decided to give fairies their own type. Since gen 1 the fairy type has been grouped in with the normal type. If you look at the jap translations they are all pretty straightforward. So nymph is probably well a nymph. Hit evee with the moon stone bam sylveon. Just my guess though

to me it's still bug type...

Bugs aren't cute, and don't wear ribbons.

- Weedle
- Spinarak
- Surskit
- Masquerain
- Dwebble
- Sewaddle
- Joltik
- (And more...)

Would like to have a word with you on that one.

Exactly 0 of those you mentioned are cute.

I can't stand how many people keep saying "fairy type"... when there's nothing pointing to it or a new type in general. Not saying I'm completely against the idea... I just hope that if it is real, it's based more on the classical "fairy" than the modern one... that way we can get some Unseelie Pokemon.

I think your wasting your time sticking to something that has no evidence for it's existence.

No evidence pointing to it? What about its name that's likely derived from "sylvan" that apparently means fairy?
It could be Normal, but another thing that makes me think there'd be a new type, Fairy, is because of Xerneas looking like a deity in the forest...another "sylvan".

We don't know that for sure, it is just speculation at this point. And if it is true, it does not mean that there is going to be a new type.

Still calling Sylveon Normal-type until confirmation.

The borders around the Eeveelutions mean nothing; Eevee has a heart-shaped border around it, which has no relation whatsoever to Normal-type. Also, calling Sylveon a Flying-type because of a barely recognizable wing-shape inside an egg is really stretching it.

I swear to f***ing God I'm going to strangle this pokemon.

No, we don't know that for sure, but my point was that there ARE some things that suggest there maybe a new Fairy type, not that these things mean for certain that there will be one.
